So, I found an easy and cheaper way to clean your makeup brushes. I'm really excited about this because I went to Ulta, Sephora, and Target looking for a good brush cleaner, but they were a little on the expensive side ($6 to $12). $6 isn't much, but if you have a lot of brushes that you use everyday, that price can add up. A lot of people use alternative cleaners like baby shampoo and facial cleanser, but those don't disinfect.
Ok so what is this awesome cleaner? A mixture of antibacterial dish soap and extra virgin olive oil. Sounds a little weird, I know, I thought so too, but it really works. I found this cleanser by watching Michelle Phan's youtube tutorial:
I tried it the other day and it really leaves my brushes soft and clean like I never used them. Try it!
